The Smartlight cap lamp is approved to the latest standards with a Group 1 intrinsically safe rating of Ex ia.

As an LED cap lamp, Austdac’s product has no bulbs to replace and each battery pack features an emergency LED which switches on automatically if the headpiece cable is damaged.

The emergency LED is also used to give a continuous display of the charge level of the battery pack.

Smartlight has a minimum 12-hour cap lamp operation, will fully recharge in 10 hours, and will operate for 800 cycles (about 3.5 years).

A travel charger also allows field personnel to charge their lamps on the road or in a standard wall socket outlet.

Austdac also offers an optional software package that connects to standard charger modules, which monitors the status of all lamps in the charge rack with detailed usage reports generated on demand of any/all lamps as allocated by user group, shift and more.
