Runge said the acquisition would allow it to better meet the needs of mining organisations from exploration through to mine closure services, as well as bringing together a larger range of mining professionals across a broader global spread.
PAH will add capability across a range of services in environment and resources modelling through to mine closure. Both organisations have extensive experience and knowledge in mine planning and economics.
"This acquisition is part of our ongoing plans for expansion of mine consulting and software services. PAH adds significantly to our presence in the US, an integral part of Runge’s world-wide operations. At the same time, Runge’s operations in five countries outside of the US will give PAH a platform for international expansion," Runge managing director Tony Kinnane said.
PAH will continue to be headed by its president Raja Upadhyay.
