Miners killed in state-owned colliery

TWENTY-three workers have been killed and 53 others injured during a blast in a state-owned coal ...

The explosion occurred on Wednesday at the Sihe Coal Mine in China's Shanxi province, official Xinhua News Agency reported.

 

Almost 700 miners were working in the pit at the time of the accident.

 

The Sihe mine is owned by Jincheng Mining Group, which owns several mines in the Shanxi province.
