Tichenor has 25 years of experience with the company, serving in accounting positions for both surface and underground Midwest operations, financial planning for Eastern US mines and contract administration positions for all regions of the company.
Since April 1997, he has served as director of contract administration.
Andy Roberts also joins Peabody as market analysis director, reporting to Tichenor.
Roberts has 29 years of coal industry experience in the operational and marketing sectors, including 10 years with major energy research consulting companies.
