The figures were recently released by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC).

Total revenue of the firms was to 115.2 billion yuan (US$13.92 billion), up 52.1% compared to last year, Business Daily reported.

Of the 32 companies, only one company reported a loss in the first seven months.
