Longwall Advantage was established 11 years ago to train longwall personnel and consult in achieving best possible production from existing longwall equipment.

Inbye said Longwall Advantage’s expertise will complement Inbye’s ability to design, manufacture and service innovative original mining equipment solutions.

Longwall Advantage managing director Lindsay Auston will continue to head the division, to be renamed Inbye Automation (Division).

“In addition to the established Longwall Advantage products and services, we will be marketing and servicing the Tiefenbach range of longwall electro-hydraulic controls and specialist hydraulic components from this division,” Inbye managing director Richard Eveleigh said.

“The division will also coordinate the implementation of the CSIRO LASC technology on our longwall equipment.”
