As further proof of China’s insatiable domestic demand, Shenhua’s coal exports fell 24.3% from 2009 to 10.3Mt in 2010.

Coal sales increased 15.1% last year to 292.6Mt.

Shenhua churned out 169.9Mt of seaborne coal with half going through Huanghua port.

The giant thermal coal and electricity producer had 7.14 billion tonnes of JORC-compliant marketable coal reserves in 2008.
