Grounded Gladstone ship refloated

A COAL ship has run aground at Gladstone Port in Central Queensland.

The ship, which was carrying a load of coal from Hay Point plus other goods, left Gladstone after refuelling when it ran aground Tuesday afternoon, ABC Online reported.

The bulk carrier has now been refloated and is being inspected for damage.
