Designed to complement the company's range of gas detection and analysing equipment, the fire and flame detection units are said to meet exacting requirements for operation in coal handling plants and other industrial environments. Group Electronics offers comprehensive unit maintenance via its calibration facility.

The company will also release a range of environmental monitoring and analytical equipment, including gas detection and analysing instrumentation; dust monitoring, air velocity, temperature, sound level and dosimetry, pressure, and liquid level instruments; electronic data loggers; heat stress and indoor air quality and ambient air monitors; gas sampling pumps; photo-ionisation detectors; and occupational health and safety “confined space entry” instrumentation.

The company will also have on display its range of confined space entry gas detection portables for underground coal mining environments, and SCADA instrumentation.
