The new system means the terminal is now part of a terminal community of MineTrak users, it has an up-to-date technology platform and users are able to access the system off-site.

The Dalrymple terminal ships in excess of 55 Mtpa from mines including Blair Athol, Burton, Coppabella, Foxleigh, German Creek, Hail Creek, Moorvale, Moranbah North, North Goonyella, Oaky Creek and Riverside. The terminal has recently been upgraded to include a third off-shore shipping berth.

MineTrak is monitors the quality and quantity of materials as they move through the minerals supply chain process - from mine planning, through mining, processing, transport and finally to consumption or transformation.

The software has the ability to integrate and interface to the wide range of software, instrumentation and control systems used by the mining industry.

The MineTrak software interfaces with a number of other systems at the terminal to enable railing and shipping data to be passed on to prepare daily and weekly operating plans and that operation and planning data is passed from MineTrak to the terminal’s SCADA system for execution.

MineTrak enables data including tonnes moved and time stamps to be passed from SCADA to MineTrak to maintain a history of coal movements.

Rail planning and scheduling data is passed from Queensland Rail’s system to MineTrak and scheduled maintenance activated can be passed through the system for incorporation into operating plans.
