Melbourne-based specialist engineering recruitment agency RPRN Engineering will be participating in the Opportunities Australia Expo in London during October in an attempt to lure suitably qualified engineers.

“We will be targeting engineers and the families who are interested in relocating to Australia to add a new dimension to their careers, as well as expatriate Australians, who after a period working overseas or due to personal security concerns, may consider it timely to return home,” RPRN principal Jack Foley said.

Foley said last year’s expo was attended by 5000 people interested in relocating and early indications were that registrations would double. Engineers (across all industries) were 15% of total registrations.

“Based on these figures we are expecting about 1500 engineers to enquire about the new career opportunities in Australia,” he said.
