The challenge returned to Mount Isa after an absence of five years and was hosted by Mount Isa Mines in conjunction with the North Queensland Mining Operations and the Queensland Resources Council (QRC).
QRC chief executive Michael Roche said the challenge provided valuable realistic scenarios, which enabled the teams to assess and improve on their already considerable skills.
