Scientific and technical experts, policy-makers and industry players will come together during October next year for the COAL21 conference.

The conference will be held at Surfers Paradise in Queensland and will feature speakers from Australia, the United States, the UK and Japan.

International speakers will be sourced from the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, International Energy Agency, FutureGen, IEA Clean Coal Centre and Center for Coal Utilization Japan.

Speakers will look at developments in CO2 capture and storage; developments in power generation; supporting R&D programs and perspectives on improving collaboration; encouraging innovation and change; and electricity generation in 2050.
