Former Consol Energy executive Eustace Frederick, Gaddy Engineering’s Frank Gaddy and Elmo Hurst of J O Lively will be honoured on May 5 at the Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, West Virginia, the West Virginia Coal Association (WVCA) said Friday.

The ceremony is part of the 2006 Joint Spring Meeting of the WVCA and the West Virginia Coal Mining Institute (WVCMI), being held May 4-6.

The Hall of Fame’s home is WVU’s College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, something WVCA calls “a collective effort of the Institute and the Association”.

Registration for the joint meeting is still under way. Other events besides the ceremony include technical sessions, a golf outing and a welcoming reception. For further information, contact the group at (304) 342-4153 or e-mail coordinator Sandi Davison at sdavison@wvcoal.com.
