All repairs, testing, documentation and a customer review were completed within the timeframe. KopexWaratah currently has 97 shuttle cars in operation in Australia and it has upgraded more than 20 Joy shuttle cars to its own hydraulic and electric control systems.
It has five feeder breakers in operation in Australia which were produced in conjunction with McLanahan. In 2012, the compay released the 100% Kopex group designed and owned Feeder Breaker KFB2012.
The company has also upgraded more than 40 Joy miners in the past 10 years to its hydraulic and electric control systems.
KopexWaratah, which is based in Argenton New South Wales, is an integral member of the international Kopex group, a Polish original equipment that manufacturers specialist underground mining equipment.
The company said it combines the Kopex group’s global mining experience and expertise with a range of underground mining machinery and equipment – including shuttle cars, roadheaders and feeder breakers that have been designed and engineered for the conditions and requirements of the Australian industry.
