The workshop highlighted not only the work that is already being undertaken, but centred on key themes of branding and supply chain access as avenues for further development. The workshop demonstrated how strong collaboration will leverage future activities and create opportunity for METS sector growth.
The NSW METS Accelerator has been established under the Energy and Resources Knowledge Hub to create a platform for coordinated engagement between government, industry and research with an emphasis on rapid deployment and facilitation of outcomes to ensure a strong future for the NSW METS sector.
The Industry Investment and Export Support branch with the Division of Resources & Energy is a key stakeholder in the initiative and through a joint partnership the successful elements of the strategic partners will establish an infrastructure and networking platform and projects to support METS industry development.
