The company was contracted to design, supply and construct the accommodation village and mine office facilities in three stages.
The first stage of the project, which saw the supply and installation of 80 rooms, was completed in December 2010.
Existing accommodation was expanded during the second stage of the project, with 40 duplex-style accommodation units (80 rooms) installed on permanent steel foundations with a turn-key solution.
The second stage included the expansion of all of the central facilities, including new decks, a recreation centre, shops, catering office, undercover car park and kitchen retro fit.
Work began in January last year and was completed in July.
Ausco Modular eastern general manager Angus Rayner said the project demanded a team effort.
“A project of this size, scale and timeframe requires exceptional project management and a good working relationship with the client,” he said.
“Ausco Modular has very strong customer service, supplier and logistical capabilities, which ensured we could work within an already operational site, operate with minimal disruption and complete the project on time.”
The final stage of the project was completed in November 2011 after Ausco designed, supplied and installed a 33-floor office complex with a training and development floor and a bath house.
