North American Gem boosts prospective coal acreage

NAG now has a total of 620 coal prospecting permits covering 1.18 million acres in the Canadian province.

Meanwhile, the company confirmed it has at least 498 coal prospecting permit applications.

The junior has uranium, gold and base metal exploration interests but says its primary goal is to hunt for coal, especially in Saskatchewan and West Virginia.

In Saskatchewan, NAG’s most advanced project is the Adamas Property, with earlier exploration discovering a coal seam in the Cretaceous rock.
