Gladstone port update

The Gladstone Port Authority loaded a total of 2.9 million tonnes of coal in July - 34.82Mt annualised - up on the July 1999 figure of 1.8Mt.

The port has loaded a total of 18.44Mt in the calendar year to July 2000.

A total of 36 vessels were loaded in July 2000, compared with 18 vessels in July 1999. Calendar year to date (January-July 2000) a total of 225 vessels have been loaded.
