Millington has over 30 years experience in underground coal operations and has succeeded in electrical and mechanical-in-charge positions, project management and engineering/maintenance management roles.
Millington will work alongside i.Power Solutions’ recently appointed New South Wales Engineering Manager Chris Harvie managing the activities of the Newcastle office.
Previous to his position at i.Power Solutions, Millington was operating a consultancy providing engineering, maintenance and safety systems advice to the mining industry.
Prior to this, he was Cooranbong Colliery/ Mandalong Mine’s Maintenance Manager responsible for the engineering, maintenance and logistics functions of the mine and directing a team of 70.
Since 1970 Millington has worked on numerous large-scale projects at key coal operations in the Hunter, Newcastle and Central Coast Regions.
