Ampcontrol chairman Humphris to retire

THE chairman of Ampcontrol Robert Humphris will retire at the end of the month.

Humphris has been a director on the Ampcontrol board for 12 years and chairman for 9.5 years.

Ampcontrol managing director Geoff Lilliss said: “Mr Humphris has played a formative role as a director and in his role as chairman. We appreciate the significant contribution he has made during his time on the Ampcontrol board”

John Wasik, a non-executive director on the Ampcontrol board since 2009, will take over as chairman.

Wasik has considerable experience in senior positions in the mining industry, including a number of leadership and management roles in Australia and the United States.

Wasik is a non-executive director of Cobbora Holding Company and Ebony Coal.
