The partnership was designed to enhance customer field support, combining Draeger’s portfolio with UCIS’ extensive sales and support network.

UCIS will distribute a range of Draeger products including the BG-4 closed circuit breathing apparatus, thermal imaging cameras and air purifying respirators.

It boasts 25 branches throughout North America.

Draeger customers will be able to take advantage of UCIS’ many service centres dedicated to keeping the mining industry compliant and efficient.

The announcement was made on the same day Draeger released a mobile app that allows easy reviews of safety recommendations for more than 1700 hazardous substances.

The app is available for iOS and Android.
