He will be joined by three other industry coal experts for a panel discussion on clean coal technology, and the role Australia can play in becoming a global leader in this space.
Buffier is also the former chairman and a current director and member of the NSW Minerals Council (NSWMC), a Ministerial appointee to the NSW Coal Innovation Council, and a Director of Australian Coal Association Low Emission Technologies Pty Ltd (ACALET).
On an international level, he is an alternate director of the World Coal Association (WCA) and an Associate of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Coal Industry Advisory Board (CIAB).
The presentation will take place on Thursday 23 March, 4pm - 6pm at NSW Parliament House.
