The Pennsylvania-based company said this week that it had expanded its operations into the new 14,000-square-foot facility on Lomas Street because of new opportunities and growth in the region.

Western operations manager Gary Dinkelman will oversee the new location. Onsite team members include service center manager La Vonne Howell, sales supervisor Sherry Kindemecht and warehouse leader Michael Dan.

“This location will provide us the opportunity to expand our presence in the mining and industrial markets in the Four Corners market area,” sales and marketing vice-president Van Compagni said.

“It will also allow us to meet our goal of providing exceptional service on a more convenient basis to our customers in this region.”

Fairmont’s headquarters office in Pennsylvania is located at the Southpointe Business complex in Canonsburg, just south of Pittsburgh, and it has 40 other locations across the US. The company is celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2011.
