Mike Robin, Anna Van Iersel and Stuart Mowat recently joined the company’s Mackay office. Robin joins the team as estimator/planning coordinator, following six years in the army and ten years with P & H MinePro Services. He is the primary customer contact/liaison for all projects, with principal focus on work- in-progress. Van Iersel joins the Mackay team in a marketing role.
Stuart Mowat heads up the new NSW field office as NSW Manager. Mowat has extensive experience in the Australia longwall sector beginning in 1988, with Dowty, Meco and Australian Longwall.
Peter Van Iersel, managing director of Longwall Associates Australia said the company continued to aggressively pursue growth in the longwall sector.
“We opened our Mackay facility in March 2001. A year later, we have added a fully staffed field office located in New South Wales, as well as expanded our corporate staff,” he said.
