The next "Bubbles 'n' Boots" will be held on April 2, and is being sponsored by SRK Consulting. Guest speakers will be AngloGold corporate human resources manager Leanne Gordon, Placer Dome Asia Pacific chief geologist Greg Hall, and SRK Consulting senior geologist Deborah Lord. Two forum sessions have been held to date in Perth.
The forum series was initiated to help retain people in the industry by allowing participants to see what peers are doing with their careers and discuss approaches to study and family commitments.
The forum is open to all professions and roles in the mining industry, and a key goal is to offer a positive approach to responding to industry issues.
