Pipeline to settle Hay Point dust

The project comes in response to a number of dry years that has depleted the terminal’s own dams. The pipeline will take pressure off the existing water supplies, particularly in low rainfall years.

The 18.4km pipeline will carry water to the port from a 300 megalitre storage lagoon.

The Ports Corporation of Queensland project will be completed by the end of the year.
