Cameron said Dr William’s extensive senior management experience in the mining and extractive industries, both in Australia and internationally, would bring additional strategic and commercial talent to the Council’s team.
Williams’ previous roles include CEO of the Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association, Marketing and Business Development director for corProcure and the UK based QP Group, director of public affairs for the World Coal Institute, and positions with Shell Coal International, Shell International Gas and Esso Australia.
Williams has a Ph.D in political science from the University of New South Wales.
She will take up her new role in late July.
