Whittaker has been a senior service engineer Joy Mining for the past seven years in Queensland, and previously working for British Coal prior to emigrating from the UK to Australia.
”We are looking forward to Neil's unique style & field experience complementing and enhancing the technical support and systems that Inoxihp offer to the longwall mining industry in our efforts to improve hydraulic supply and reticulation for longwall machines,” Inoxihp Australia co-founder Tim Leeson said.
Whittaker will work predominantly from the Emerald area, based in Yeppoon, but will support system development wherever customers require.
Inoxihp Australia was formed by Tim Leeson and John Mullins to develop mining products related to fluid applications. The company offers hoses, fittings and pumps to offer mines an integrated package with fewer interface problems between pumps, connectors and equipment. The pump is manufactured in Italy by pump and valve manufacturer Inoxihp Italy.
