Inoxihp Australia has signed an exclusive deal with its Italian parent to market its mining products worldwide. The parts will be designed and built at its New South Wales workshop facility in Mount Thorley.
While manufacturing entire pump stations in Australia has proved expensive, Inoxihp’s Tim Leeson said Australia could offer its technical know-how to overseas mines.
“We are looking to export the smart stuff – such as the control systems – and then coordinate the final build close to the customer from our NSW facility,” Leeson said.
Inoxihp Australia is currently pursuing product sales overseas exporting to North America, Canada, Russia, India and China.
In the long term the company will look at manufacturing the non-technical parts in China and assembling there before exporting.
Inoxihp Australia currently has pump installations at Ulan, Crinum and Broadmeadow.
