Kennedy – who comes to PB with more than 30 years experience in the mining industry in opencut, underground, coal and metalliferous mines – will work with PB’s resources clients.
Kennedy has experience in Australia and overseas covering operations, planning and feasibility studies, change management and all facets of project management. He also has expertise in the mining and civil engineering applications of explosives.
PB has also appointed Dr Richard Duczmal as a principal structural engineer, further enhancing the company’s capability to meet the needs of resources and industry clients.
Duczmal specialises in the inspection, analysis and structural design of static and mobile materials-handling plant to reduce the incidence of fatigue-induced cracking in steel plant.
He also specialises in estimating and increasing the remaining life of large plant such as draglines, shiploaders, stackers/reclaimers, dump stations, breakers and crushers.
Before joining PB, Duczmal had many years experience in mining, materials handling and marine structures.
