The event will be held on January 9-11 in Charleston.
Among those already on the itinerary are Alpha Natural Resources president Kevin Crutchfield, speaking on coal markets, and Natural Resource Partners president Nick Carter, presenting on coal field financing.
Also invited are WV Governor Joe Manchin, US Senator Jay Rockefeller, the Mine Safety and Health Administration and the WV Office of Miners' Health, Safety and Training.
Health, safety and environmental topics will be at the core of the presentations. The WVCA said mine reclamation practices, new equipment technologies, environmental issues, mine permitting, and state and federal regulatory issues would also be on the agenda.
