Micro Fresh Filters managing director Ray de Jersey said the consolidation would have a dramatic impact on efficient management of the company’s divisions.

A large component of the new 4000-square-metre facility will be dedicated to manufacture of mining filters.

Mining business development manager Stephen Gledhill said the company’s diesel particulate filter, originally produced for underground coal mining, had recently been recognised as world’s best practice by a major, global, multinational company.

Micro Fresh has also recently gained the exclusive distribution rights to a new range of diesel exhaust catalyst.

Gledhill said the catalyst used precious metals to reduce particulate and gaseous emissions and was suitable for a wide range of diesel-powered applications.
