Mastermyne order book looks healthy in FY18

The company has maintained strong Tier 1 customer base.

The company has maintained strong Tier 1 customer base and experienced no reduction in contracts, it said in a recent presentation.

“[There has been] customer diversification through recent contracts,” it said.

The company’s total tendering pipeline now stands at more than $970 million, with $220 million in core business and $750 million in whole-of-mine opportunities.

Mastermyne has been awarded significant scope expansion at Anglo American Moranbah North mine in Queensland involving two roadway development panels that employs approximately 130 personnel.

It is also mobilising a roadway development contract at South32’s Appin mine in New South Wales, employing approximately 120 personnel.

In August the company announced a development contract with Whitehaven Coal’s Narrabri mine in New South Wales that includes placement of further development equipment.
