WOLLONGONG Coal has made a $73 million loss for FY2018 after a three month production hiatus at its Wongawilli colliery in New South Wales and foreign exchange losses hit its earnings.

Wollongong Coal only produced 190,143t from its Wongawilli colliery.

The company reported revenues of $29 million for the year ended March 31 2018, which was 20% lower than the previous corresponding period.
