Queensland seeks to grow its coal exports to China with trade mission

THE QUEENSLAND government’s historic trade mission to China will further strengthen the trading partnership through the key resource commodity of coal to create jobs, stimulate investment and boost regional Queensland, according to the Queensland Resources Council.

 China is Queensland’s largest coal customer and it purchased 50.8 million tonnes of coal in 2018.
