WESTERN Australia’s mining industry is under the spotlight in the corridors of power, with WA Nationals leader Mia Davies calling for an inquiry into mining legacy State Agreements struck before 1970 and Liberal Member for Kalgoorlie Kyran O’Donnell reigniting a call for Mines Minister Bill Johnston to apologise to workers in the mining and resources sectors for “failing to represent their interests”.
