NSW to permit uranium mining

NEW South Wales looks set to allow uranium mining in the state again after 30 years as nuclear energy gains environmental credibility as an alternative to fossil fuels such as coal and gas.

A One Nation bill is to be voted on in the upper house next week that will address both the question of mining and the nuclear power plant.
