Legal action could end with Tahmoor, Whyalla wound up

CREDIT Suisse has initiated legal action in the New South Wales Supreme Court to wind up Simec’s Tahmoor underground coal mine in New South Wales and the South Australian Whyalla steelworks as well as its supplier of iron ore from SA’s Middleback Ranges, Liberty House Group.

It could lead to the appointment of liquidators McGrathNicol to Tahmoor and the Whyalla steelworks.
