Qld budget bleeding coal profits to pay for renewables sector

QUEENSLAND resources minister Scott Stewart has sought to justify the government’s decision to hit coal companies’ profits harder by saying the money would fast track renewables projects and the jobs and business opportunities for suppliers that come with them.
