Coal exports crack the $100B barrier

THE value of Australia’s annual exports of coal, coke and briquettes has exceeded $100 billion for the first time, according to the latest Australian Bureau of Statistics data.

Coal exports rocketed 40% or $11.7 billion to $40.4 billion for the three months to June 2022.
