New Hope profit soars to $1.4B

NEW Hope has delivered a net profit before tax of $1.4 billion for the year ended July 31 2022 thanks to strong coal prices, compared to $111 million for the previous corresponding period.

The result saw the company finish the period with $715 million cash at bank.
