Battery strategy to harness Australian strengths

THE Australia government has started consultations for the country’s first National Battery Strategy, which is aimed at helping Australia transition to a decarbonised economy, hit ambitious emissions targets, foster Australian innovation and support Australian industry.

Global demand for existing and next-generation batteries is forecast to increase nine to 10-fold.
