Half of Stanmore's cash paying Qld royalties

STANMORE Resources has paid out almost half the cash it generated from its coal mines to the Queensland government in the first half of 2023 under the higher royalty rates introduced by state treasurer Cameron Dick.

Stanmore’s experience is a reflection of industry concerns over royalty hike effects.
