BMA ships Hay Point conveyors from Port of Mackay

DECOMMISSIONED BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance trestles and conveyors from its Hay Point Coal Terminal in Queensland dating back to 1971 have been shipped from the Port of Mackay in more than 300 containers.

The containers, which hold steel dismantled from the old trestle over several years, are being shipped to Indonesia, where it will be melted down and turned into reinforcing material for use in construction....
