Jacobs fast tracks Rio Tinto wharf job

NORMALLY wharves are stick-built. In a first of its kind approach, Jacobs split the wharf build for Rio Tinto’s Amrun bauxite operation in northern Queensland into seven jackets and stripped a year of build-time from the job.
