Lynas quietly confident at Kuantan

WESTERN Australia-based rare earths supplier Lynas Corporation has started preliminary work on locations for a permanent disposal facility for water leach purification residue after Malaysian prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad told local media the company should not have to export low-level radioactive waste as a condition of its licence renewal at the Kuantan plant after all.
