New Century mops up zinc spill

LOCAL Indigenous elders and rangers have rushed to the scene of a zinc spill along the 304km slurry pipeline New Century uses to transport zinc concentrate to port in the Gulf of Carpentaria, to oversee the clean-up of about 575 tonnes of spilled zinc concentrate in the Lawn Hill nature preserve.
