GRES is expecting revenue of $312 million over a two-year period from delivery of the contracts.

Under the scope of the two contracts GRES will provide engineering design, drafting, project management and commissioning.

The contractor will also carry out structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation construction works and use its subsidiary Mipac for specialist electrical and instrumentation services.

GRES managing director Tony Patrizi said it was an important project for the company.

"We have worked with OZ Minerals over many years on projects within the OZ Minerals group, including the West Musgrave project, and see this award as a strong endorsement of our proven delivery capabilities," he said.

"We look forward to continuing working collaboratively to deliver a safe and successful outcome on the West Musgrave project."

OZ Minerals projects executive Debbie Morrow said West Musgrave was set to be one of the largest, lowest cost, lowest emissions copper-nickel projects globally.
