"Mechanical" fault stopped Tahmoor

A MECHANICAL issue in the winding system for the Number 3 shaft winder has been blamed for the incident that left two workers suspended 160m below the surface at Simec’s Tahmoor coking coal mine in New South Wales southern highlands.
